What is a urethral stricture?
Urethral stricture is a narrowing of the urethra. The tube known as the urethra is responsible for transporting urine from the bladder through the penis when you urinate.
What are the symptoms of urethral stricture?
The most obvious sign of urethral stricture is a weakened urinary system. Symptoms of this can include:
- Slow flow of urine
- Straining to urinate.
- Pain during urination.
- Urinary tract infection.
Treatment options include:
- Urethral dilation:- An OPD procedure takes 10 to 15 minutes.
